The European Le Mans Series (ELMS) is a premier European endurance racing championship inspired by the 24 Hours of Le Mans, featuring four-hour races on iconic tracks. It showcases, 47 cars across four categories which are LMP2, LMP2 Pro/Am, LMP3, and LMGT3. The series consists of six 4-hour races held on major European circuits, including Barcelona, Le Castellet, Imola, Spa-Francorchamps, Silverstone, and Portimão. Each event involves three days of action, including practice, qualifying, and a 4-hour race where teams of drivers share one car. Winners and top finishers in each category receive an automatic invitation to the following year's prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans.
